I've warded off decorating for the holidays so far because of the pleading look I got from my husband followed by a, "can't we finish the basement first?" Not sure why he wants to put work on hold for an evening to haul boxes in from the garage.
Because of this the only thing I have out that says any amount of "Merry Christmas" is green
and sparkly.
And I actually made it.

A friend came over with all the needed items and a great "crafting for dummies" idea and so we sat down for an evening of good company and creativity.This is the most "crafty" I have ever been I think.
Best part is, it turned out pretty well because I like it well enough to display it in my home.
