To Market, to Market

To market, to market, to look at the goods.

That was this Saturday for me. I went with complete intentions to purchase something fabio and didn't. You see, I have this huge problem with spending money, I just don't like to do it. Because of this I am actually kicking myself because there are two things I wish I had snagged while I was there. One I'm going to see if I can sew it, but we'll see.

What I did walk away from was this sweet little brooch pictured above. Darling isn't it? It caught my eye and I drooled. My girlfriend picked through a basket of dandy little pins and found one she liked as well. While I was fishing through my bag for my wallet she bought this sweet thing for me, so it's not like I walked away empty handed! The bead in the center of this beauty is a hand made glass bead. It's fantastic!

This coming weekend there is another market in a neighboring city I think I'll try to get to. I hear there is a lady there who sells things I'd love to get my hands on. I hope she's there and that she doesn't disappoint.

Because I had nothing better to do Sunday morning I made one of these exact pins to match my outfit for church. I'd show you a picture of it, but it didn't last on my person too long. A friend of mine had a birthday earlier in the week and eyeballed it, so I told her if she didn't look too closely at the imperfections of it she could call it hers.
